"Dave taught me OET. This was my second attempt. I lost all hope in reading and writing section. He gave me 400 plus in all 4 sections. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He has lived and taught in the U.K. I met him at the right time. I would strongly recommend him for OET. "

Go to the Official GRE Guide and go through the Quant section even if you have already done it. Don't familiarise yourself with question types or memorise formulae. It won't help. It's the applicability value of the concepts that you go through and how can you use it to solve the next question. You may be overlooking conceptual learning and you may be memorising things. It is easier said than done. You need someone to make you go though the Quant section in a different way. There is a lot of unlearning involved and then things will fall in place.
For the verbal section, go through different types of reading material. Something that you have not done before. Familiar learning material solidifies ways of learning and scores stagnate. Start afresh and focus on contextual language. Read a lot.

Focussing on number of hours than the quality of learning.
An extreme focus on vocabulary. Not realizing that it is the contextual meaning that the examiners are looking for.
A rigid way of preparing for the exam that desensitises you to the wow! experience.
The questions are not difficult. They just need you to think differently.
You need to change the way you learn things and prepare for the exam. This is different from CAT or any other exam for that matter.
Your perspective and the framework of your thinking will decide your scores.

You can easily prepare for GRE with your 10 hr/day job. Being an IT engineer helps you in a big way. Remember, it is a qualitative exam and the duration of study does not matter much. It is your ability to see through things that matters. Deep processing is the key. The extent of information is not.

GRE is more of an applied exam. Everyting that you learn offline can also be learnt online. If you are a self motivated learner it would not make any difference. If you wish to meet the trainer physically and constant hand holding is a necessity, then offline classes are good. Be it offline or online it is the quality of conversation that matters. How comfortable are you with your trainer matters. Its a good idea to open up and talk about your challenges and let the trainer help you.
