"Avijit Sir is a great teacher. He has huge amount of knowledge in Hindustani Classical Music. He has a very unique teaching style and teaches with a lot of interaction. He has been involved in research into music therapy and history of flutes and flute making. I have been learning to play the flute for over two years from him and am glad to be a student. "

"Playing the flute the way it is played by masteros, requires one to master blowing and fingering techniques, basic alankars, raga composition, proper sitting and flute holding position and most importantly synchronizing it with accompanying instruments like guitar, piano, tabla. Avijit Sir with his enormous experience guide students to master these techniques effectively in a systematic manner(of course you need to practice hard as per his guidance), so that with time one evolve as a soulful flutist. Once these techniques are mastered one can play classical , light Bollywood songs as well as western composition. "
