Hi Santosh,
From my experience,Following are the tips to complete data science project;
1) Find a well defined problem from your interesting domain(e.g Healthcare,Transportation,Agriculture etc)
2)Collect a data accordingly to your problem.
3) Define Success metric/Evaluation metric for your problem.
4) Then do some exploratory analysis and buils the model to solve your problem and then evaluate it using defined metric.
5) Present your solution to the community
