In data science, understanding, visualisation and feature engineering plays a significant role. In case you want to upgrade yourself, it depends on what position you dream of like if you're going to pursue ML research or a data scientists you need to understand the complicated math and libraries like Pytorch, sensor flow etc. Else Tableau/SAS/SPSS/R will do.
