Dance itself is not a carreer, if you can dance well, that will make a good career, in dance as well as other art like acting. People who couldn't earn good money from it do think like that. But I have seen even dance coach making good progress in their careers, and good money too.

Hello. I'm a 23 year old woman who is desperate to learn an Indian classical dance. Odissi is what I've decided upon. However, I'm starting to doubt myself as I've heard Odissi is the hardest dance form to master. Can I still do it? Will kathak be a better choice for me? (As I'm too old?) Please help. Thank you.
You can still learn any dance style.ur not old to learn anything. I suggest you to find some experts and talk to them take some demo classes of different classical dances and then decide. Good luck.
