You would have seen girls dancing around pole(s) in a lot of Bollywood and Hollywood movies. But did you ever think of learning this dance style? If you are a man and thinking how weird would that be to learn pole dancing, you would be surprised to know that this is increasingly becoming popular for males as well. And please, don't just think of striptease when it comes to pole dancing. Its an art and you require lot of strength and flexibility to master that.Who Should Learn Pole Dancing?
Well, pole dancing is mostly learnt by females as men may think it to be too feminine. Also, you need to be fit to learn pole dancing. There are lot of exercises you're supposed to do as part of learning pole dance and unless you're fit, you might find it difficult to cope with it.Pole Used for Dance
Usually the pole used for a typical pole dance is made of hollow steel or brass that has circular cross section, from floor to ceiling. The best option would be to use a pole that is fixed at the ceiling. If you can't use that typical pole, there are detachable poles that be used. Make sure to have a secured based foe detachable poles to minimize the chances of injury.Why Would You Want to Learn Pole Dance?
