Communication is the skill-set that can me garnished but not imbibed because its already instilled in you.

As a you are B.Com student you go for soft skill training because communication module is covered in that along with goal setting, decision making, leadership, time management, stress management, positive attitude, social and business ettiquetes, grooming etc, but as a Indian trend people misunderstood communication and english language. Many spoken english centres covers communication skills but communication is different and spoken english is different. If you will see in IIMs there are many specializations available in communication eg. General communication, Business Communication, Managerial communication, Corporate communication, Persuasive communication etc. More over engish is just language of communication. We need knowledge of psychology, sociology, management for communication. So without understanding soft skills you can not become good communicator.

You are the best judge as to what and weher do you think you need intervention on. Of Course, communication comes first and is also true that it is a part of soft skills. In communication too, is it to learn grammer and lay the foundation very strong or you have fairly good understanding over grammar and you desire to make your communication more effective? So, in both the cases the approach would be different. You decide or seek help from an expert as to what yo think you must go for. My take, correctly able to speak a language comes first, then we talk about the rest or those go simultaneously. Wish you good luck.
