Overview

I'm pursuing M.Sc Physics at Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College. I have completed my UG with a specialization in physics at Shri Nehru Maha Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science. I have 10 months of experience in online tutoring and a few years of teaching in real time for the students to understand the concepts. I will clearly explain the concepts so that the students can easily understand them. Follow up! I will ask a few questions to get them to think about the concepts. This is the way I can handle the students.

The principles of management are fundamental guidelines for the decision-making and actions of managers in an organization. These principles were initially developed by Henri Fayol and have been refined over time. The key principles include:
  1. Division of Work: Specialization increases efficiency by allowing workers to become more proficient in their tasks.

  2. Authority and Responsibility: Managers must have the authority to give orders, but they must also bear responsibility for the function.

  3. Discipline: Employees must obey and respect the rules that govern the organization.

  4. Unity of Command: Each employee should receive orders from one superior only to avoid conflicts and confusion.

  5. Unity of Direction: The organization should have a single plan of action to guide managers and workers.

  6. Subordination of Individual Interests to the General Interest: The interests of one employee or group of employees should not take precedence over the interests of the organization as a whole.

  7. Remuneration: Workers must be paid fairly for their services.

  8. Centralization: The degree of centralization or decentralization of authority should be balanced and appropriate to the organization's needs.

  9. Scalar Chain: There should be a clear line of authority from the top to the bottom of the organization, known as the chain of command.

  10. Order: The organization should maintain a systematic arrangement of materials and personnel.

  11. Equity: Managers should be kind and fair to their subordinates.

  12. Stability of Tenure of Personnel: High employee turnover is inefficient. Stable employment benefits the organization.

  13. Initiative: Employees should be given the freedom to express new ideas and suggestions.

  14. Esprit de Corps: Promoting team spirit will build harmony and unity within the organization.

These principles help in structuring management practices and improving organizational efficiency.
