1. Text book - Is this for ICSE or CBSE?

* For ICSE, Selina Publisher's text book by R K Bansal is sufficient. Solve every sum in it.

* For CBSE, work from the NCERT text book first. But this is not at all adequate. You will need to work from R S Aggarwal too - read all the solved examples and solve every alternate sum.

2. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you READ the main text book (Selina or NCERT), understand the concepts and learn methods and formulae before attempting the exercises in the book. If there is anything that you do not understand either in the concepts or in the solved examples, get them clarified IMMEDIATELY - either by a friend or a parent or a school teacher or a tuition teacher. Don't let doubts pile up!
