Noise pollution is caused due to heavy machineries like turbines, generators, pumps, that runs inside industries like thermal power plant, automobile plant. Thermal pollution is caused due to discharge of warm/very-h0t water from thermal power plant. Thermal pollution of water bodies occurs when WARM water from factories and thermal power plants is released into them before cooling. The consequences are that aquatic life in the water bodies can be killed. This includes plants as well as fish.
Noise generated by industrial and construction activities, machinery, generators, pneumatic and electric tools results in irritation, anger, stress, hearing impairment, increased heart rate and blood pressure among other physiological effects.Thermal pollution is caused due to discharge of warm water from thermal power plant. 1. Industries release toxic fumes into the atmosphere which increases the local temperature thereby creating thermal pollution.
2. Most of the machines are not fit with noise absorbers. So they make a lot of noise thereby creating noise pollution.
3. Industries also release toxic chemicals in nearby water bodies raising their temperature. This also creates thermal pollution.
