The capacity of an object to do work is called Energy.
The capacity to do work may become in many ways but one main calculation point from the study of motion. As we know that when a body is in motion, then it has more energy than it's in rest and another way to know energy is by position and shape of an object
1. kinetic Energy: The Energy of an object due to its motion is called kinetic energy
2 potential energy: The Energy of an object due to its position and shape is called potential energy.
3 Gravitational Energy: the potential energy due to the height above the earth surface is called gravitational energy
Beside these energies. Energy exists in serval forms like heat light should electrical magnetic etc.
It's just an intro of energy.
