I have learnt & practised Kathak myself for 3 yrs in a dance school .

There are nine Indian classical dances as recognised by Ministery of Culture.The only thing is you have to decide perfect dance class which fit or suit your requirement of dance.
Firstly get yourself registered in Indian classical dance course.
Read a little sbout form
Watch some videos on line.
Understand the language.
Warm up and exercise.
