Do specific training is required to play good chess?

To play any games, you required specific training to become good at that game. Specially Technical Games required lots of practice. Ex: We thinks that cricket is a game in which we hit the ball, but cricket is a technical and skilled game. Here we have to understand the stance of the body to help in adjusting the timing of the shot. We have to play different shots for different Bowling and Bowlers, so there are lots of techniques in cricket.
Chess is, in general, has a lot of techniques to learn, even some Grand Masters don't know every technique of Top Players, so lots of training is involved and required in chess. Also, World Champion Magnus Carlsen got some training from Gary Kasparov in the past. So training is a must to become a good chess player.
