"First of all I would like to say that Diwakar sir is very kind, humble and patient. When I came the first day, I couldn't do any asana properly. I was very disappointed because the fellow guys were doing much better than me. Diwakar sir assured me and made me believe in myself that gradually I would also be able to perform the asanas like others. He also gave extra attention to my postures. Overall, I couldn't have found a better yoga teacher than Diwakar sir. "

Ashtanga Yoga is a physically intense and structured form of yoga that synchronizes breath (pranayama) with a set sequence of postures (asanas) and focused gaze (drishti) to create a flowing, meditative practice.
Derived from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Ashtanga follows these eight guiding principles for spiritual and physical mastery:
It consists of six progressive series (Primary, Intermediate, and four Advanced levels), each designed to systematically purify and strengthen the body and mind. The practice is traditionally done six days a week, emphasizing discipline and dedication.
Ashtanga Yoga is ideal for those seeking a challenging, transformative, and meditative approach to yoga, integrating physical exertion with deep spiritual growth.

Yoga's spiritual aspects focus on self-awareness, inner peace, and connection with the divine. It involves mindfulness, meditation, and ethical principles (yamas and niyamas) to cultivate harmony between body, mind, and spirit. The goal is self-realization, enlightenment (samadhi), and union with the universal consciousness.
