I'm an executive 55 years old . never exercised. wish to get into yoga for meditation and general flexibility . I tried couple of times to hire a yoga teacher but ended in giving it up since they were attempting too much too fast . I do not known of the many kinds of yoga mentioned . Live in valmiki nagar and wish some can come in the morning's . please guide me ...

Namasthe . Yoga is a way of life. When u do yoga it is important to do the Asanas correctly to get maximum mileage and benefit. We train you into Mudras and Pranayama too apart from the chanting of pranava mantra "AUM" and help you to meditate. Meditation is not something which comes from external. It is to be experienced within. One is in meditation even at work. When your chakras and meridians open up, then u can experience it better . Our Yoga Parlour is in Nandanam, opp. YMCA college. We start sessions as early as 5.30 am. ( Batch 1) . Venue: HUMA Hospitals wellness clinic . We will teach you asanas which will improve your flexibility gradually. Nothing comes overnight. I want to be a yoga teacher and I want to learn mrw more power yoga but I don't know frm whr I cn learn n get certi bcoz mny classes are nt providing certificate

Yoga is charged differently by different teachers (just as food is charged by different hotels at different rates as prepared by Chefs, although idli and dosa with chutney/sambar or coffee ingredients remain the same) So also, yoga depends on the expertise of the teacher as well as the background or nature of the person. It can range from free sessions to Rs 1000 per hour max. Also, it depends on what is being taught during the session..... you must check on what is being imparted to you for the fee that you are remitting. There are different types of yoga . It is not advisable to undergo free classes as there should always be a quid -pro-quo for anything rendered in one's life. We charge Rs 1000 for the outskirts at our and Rs 2500 for city limits at our centres in Chennai- for 12 classes a month and Rs 5000 per month ( for 12 classes) , if it is individual session/ therapeutic in nature Feel free to revert for any further clarifications.

Amika, There are several ways to go about it : 1) When someone is having a problem, proffer assistance and this way they know u are a healer. 2) Spread the word around if u stay in an apartment and request a 15 minutes intro to be given on the subject from your end to apartment dwellers so that they may contact you moving forward. 3) Approach Media like All India Radio or Electronic media like news mags etc , which can showcase/ you as as a healer of Reiki 4) Do a Q & A interview with any leading online or print media so that peope may approach you, knowing you can answer their queries. 5) Heal yourself and request Reiki to assist you to get clients for Reiki .... the Universal Life force will come to your rescue .Leave it to Reiki to guide you to the next step of how to go about it . Namasthe Aditya. In my opinion right from the age of 6 the children can learn to do away with shyness, mingle with other children and spend time in opening up to see the world around them. But effectively their learning in real terms would commence only by 8 as they are in a position to know understand and ask want to do. So 8-16 is ideal as my experience in undertaking so many workshops across India reveals. Of course, when it comes to Western children they are much faster to know many things and there the age is at 5 effectively. Their courses too are different from our kind of workshops. Children at a young age in the West are open to also learning carpentry, mowing the garden, jointly painting rooms as team work , and have funky programs that our children are not used to as of today .
