In career mapping, one should map his/her strengths with his work arena by doing so he will not only earn good money but will be really happy with what he/she is doing. Hi Sophie, Thanks for reaching out to us for your doubt. Let me first explain to you what is 'Career Counseling' and, what does it mean by 'finding a good job'. Career Counseling entails any or all aspects of career decisions you wish to make. It also covers finding what is the best suitable option for you, out of all the options available for you to chose out of. Career Counseling has two parts in it. One is Education and other is Work. However, both are to a great extent overlapped. As you see, commonly our Education dictates the kind of work we would get into. So, making an informed decision about your interest and choices of field you wish to go into, and which might be most suitable for you, is what basically a Career Counseling is. Now, finding a good job is based on lot many things. Such as how good were your academic results, the duration and profile of your experience (if there was any), your communication skills (mostly during the interview and/or GD), etc. As you can now, it's not the Career Counseling which helps you in finding a good job. But, Career Counseling helps you make the right decision for the choice and interest you have. However, finding a good job is mostly about how to land the best possible job based on what you have already got (Education and Experience). Both are different aspects. I hope I answered your query. So its necessary to understand where you can perform better based on your educational qualification. For example -- A MBA can easily find a job in marketing , may it be a in a small or a big MNC but 2 /3 year onwards candidates start feeling themselves where they are driving their career. Most of the guys end up with frustration while target did,nt get achieved, even they have very good scores in the marketing subject or entire MBA course. Think why ??? That is not necessary go for SAP MM Certification. Most of candidates are working and getting good salary package without certification. Basically you have to start your training.
