Hello,
I am a bachelor of mechanical engineer passout year 2016 mumbai university with no work experience except 2 month internship. i didn't joined for job earlier due to some personal issues.
Now i want to get job in mechanical design engineering.
I have done SOLIDWORKS, CATIA course at intermediate skill level.
What is the requirements for job, pay, demand ?
Your language of defining yourself sounds more pessimistic. Try to make a positive description of you as impressive as possible. Don't call yourself as "no work experience, except 2 months internship", you could mention it as "Fresher with 2 months of internship". Today's digital world needs something more than physical survival, create a web presence of your profile through social media platforms. Try creating profiles in Job sites, upload your updated resume, mention your anticipating CTC and wait for your turn to respond the calls with job offer. Just to remind you, be as positive as possible and create a profile that just shows what you have and not list down what you don't have.
All the Best.

As there are many gaps between your work and study and you have only 2-month internship knowledge only. As Per me, u can apply to a small industry first for experience and after taking 1 years experience you can apply for another company.
Thanks

Hi Jeevan,
The mechanical field is ever green, and there is always a demand for this profession. The condition applied is you like what you do, and you enjoy what you do. Please analyse that the software names which you defined are enjoyable for you, or it is just a bit of luck by chance. Identify your true potential and then put it in resume. Leverage on your strengths and then market it. Use some of the great Job Portal and get the resume prepared by some expert.
Believe me, if your passion is in the same direction, your speed will be exponential for growth. All the best !!
There are plenty of opportunities in this field at the moment provided you're good at what you claim to do.
Most of these firms prefer experienced individuals than freshers.
I'd still suggest you join internship programmes these organisations offer to gain real-time experience and eventually are contracted to hire.
Pay most certainly will depend on your level of expertise to solve design problems and Effective solutions you provide.
To especially understand the vacancies out there, research on platforms like LinkedIn, Business Newspaper columns and other relevant job portals and choose an option that suits you the best.
Hello Mr.Jeevan
As you have studied mechanical engineering and design courses, apply for product-based companies which are looking for design engineering skills. There is a huge demand for design engineers who require analytical and creative skills. The pay will depend on fresher to experienced. As you are fresher, you can expect a decent salary ranges from 15k to 25k per month in any company. I advise you to enhance your catia auto cad and creo 2.0 skills. All the best.
Your prime concern here should be getting a job first, gain formal and hands-on experience. Salary is important, but that should not a top concern when you are starting your career. Write a good resume and yes, mention your two months internship as your work experience. There are several opportunities available get your resume circulated through different mediums like job portals, job consultants and your networks. There is a fixed salary structure for a job role it depends upon your abilities, company, city and several other factors. You have to decide what you want and then approach it accordingly. First, get a job and show you skills there everything will fall in line.
