Japanese calligraphy. It's root is in Chinese calligraphy.Japan Calligraphy study the old Chinese texts to learn calligraphy.It emphasis more on meaning behind character and emotions conveyed by brush work.Japanese developed Hiragana and katakana two systems.These two system developed from Kanji.

Combination of Kanji and Kana are two main difference between Chinese and Japanese
