There's deep rooted corruption in Bishop Cotton Boys school admission. I applied for my younger son and he has his brother already studying at cottons. But still, he didn't get the admission. That's when the admission form clearly says that preference will be given to the sibling. I have never heard of a case where a sibling is denied the admission.... more»

There's deep rooted corruption in Bishop Cotton Boys school admission. I applied for my younger son and he has his brother already studying at cottons. But still, he didn't get the admission. That's when the admission form clearly says that preference will be given to the sibling. I have never heard of a case where a sibling is denied the admission. Any attempt to meet the principal was futile. Still, I wrote two letters to the principal, but it all fell on deaf years. In the mean time while trying to speak to someone at cottons, we came across this PA of principal. He says, the admission could happen i we pay 3 lakh extra (basically bribe)....This school has gone to dogs. I want to escalate this issue but don't know how and thru whom. Could anybody help me with this... «less

Hi shilpa,
Uniforms were ready made. You need to trial first and give them correct sizes. For Books and shoes i think we need to go after 28th May .

Shipla/Mahita, went to the school yesterday to see the 2nd list. But the security said the school is closed till May end. Could u pls. Share any info that you have about the 2nd list? Was the list available only for saturday and was admission for that list was also closed on that day? Pls. Share info. Thanks

Hi All, Even I had visited the school today morning to find out about the 2nd list , but was told by the security at the gate that the list is no longer displayed as the office was closed for the summer vacation. I requested him to go and check myself, and found no list displayed , but only a notice on the board near the office which spoke about another... more»

Even I had visited the school today morning to find out about the 2nd list , but was told by the security at the gate that the list is no longer displayed as the office was closed for the summer vacation. I requested him to go and check myself, and found no list displayed , but only a notice on the board near the office which spoke about another list for which the admission letters were to be collected on 21st & 23rd April only from the principal and all admissions procedures to be completed by 28th April.The office was closed and there was no one there who could help. If anyone has any other info on this, pls let me know. «less

Please help me....I went to school today and the gatekeeper told me that the 2nd list is already taken off and I didnt know if my son's name is there or not ....he also told me to come on 21st may and meet the principal if his name is there in the list. Can anybody help. How will I find if his name is there in the second list.

Today I had gone to the school to see the second list expecting that atleast my son name should be there. But no list was put and the security person told that the list was put and removed Saturday itself. From Monday (23rd) school office is closed for vacation and will get re-opened only on 21st May 2012. Any idea how many people where there in the... more»

Today I had gone to the school to see the second list expecting that atleast my son name should be there. But no list was put and the security person told that the list was put and removed Saturday itself. From Monday (23rd) school office is closed for vacation and will get re-opened only on 21st May 2012.

Any idea how many people where there in the second list and when was the last date for payment of fees for them ? In case they have removed Saturday itself, then how will the parents come to know whether their kid is there in the list. I am really lost. Is the second list is just gimmicks and only known / under the table paid people have come to the list and they were informed in person by phone and hence for the name sake, the list was put and then removed. Any idea of the reality. Appreciate your inputs. «less

I enquire that school about the books when to get the uniform and they said we need to enquire around 28th May or so. Shoes are available from 14th May onwards
