Hi Sreelatha - We were a day late for St Joseph's, but we sent the alert out while the admissions were still open. We announced the Bishop Cotton Boy's admissions a day before the forms were getting distributed. I am sorry that you didn't receive these alerts. Hi,I am disappointed that you are not up to date regarding admissions for St Joseph's and Bishop Cotton Boy's (the 2 schools I was keen on, I haven't checked the status of others). I signed up for an alert but I have not received any. It's a good thing I was following up very closely with the school, otherwise I might have missed the date completely.

W.r.t to Bishop Cotton Boys, on weekdays one can submit the form between 2.30pm-3.30pm and Saturdays 9.30am-10.30am. The form can be obtained from the Union Bank inside the campus for Rs 500/

We try our best to get the information as early as possible, but clearly we need to do better. We did finally found the newspaper ad and announced admissions for Bishop Cottons, St. Johns and Cathedral schools before they have started. So, I believe we did fulfill the promise of sending alerts out.

Hi Subha,
In Bangalore for most schools age criteria is set, so irrespective of LKG or UKG child has to fall b/w the limit and that age criteria is little different in each schools, independantly check with the schools for thier Age Limit and also Admission for UKG is based on availability which in turn again depends on Age.

My son is currently in L.K.G in a school in Chennai. We are re-locating to Bangalore this summer. According to the age criteria set by schools in Bangalore, he is eligible only for L.K.G in Bangalore. There are no forms issued for 1st standard, Write a request letter addressing to Principal with a copy of UKG marks report and submit it by end of March.If there is any vacancies they will inform.
