Hence the idea should always be to speak excitingly rather than worrying about minor grammatical errors. A fascinating fact about listening to spoken English is that we tend to miss the wrong grammar. Hence the idea should always be to speak excitingly rather than worrying about minor grammatical errors. And once you can grab the attention of your audience with your engaging spoken style or tone, be sure no one will mark your grammatical mistakes. And once you start noticing that you have a satisfied audience, you would automatically gain confidence during public speaking removing all hesitation. A few such sessions will make you will be more confident, and slowly your spoken English will attain the required fluency you look for.
Also, the feeling you have mentioned is familiar to most new speakers. Take, for example, if you are in a class and everyone is required to speak. So most of the people in the audience would be more worried about their chance of going to stage and speaking than marking your mistakes, some who have already spoken would be more than clam and relaxing as their turn is over. The rest would be more interested in the content facts than grammar.
As a practice, speak before a mirror to make yourself more fluent and work on your tone of speaking that can help enhance your confidence along with reading as much as you can. Reading is the best habit to work on your grammar.
