"After about 3 months of persuasions, we could get a slot for our daughter enrolled with Balan Sir in his DO RE MI Music Academy for Keyboard classes about a year ago. His One on One attention improved her skills immensely and so rapidly. I would have never imagined that Keyboard could be taught effectively. It offers a well-structured method, taught through his dedication with regular assessments and feedback, bringing the convenience and experience of music. Thanks for all the help Sir!!! Also wishing you to write many more music Books and accomplishments! "

"I am a medical student who has been a part of DO RE MI School of Music for about two years and thanks to Mr. Raj Balan I can confidently say that I have a skill which is not easily attainable by all. Not only has he sharpened my mind and bestowed me with the wonderful language of music but he has also made me confident of my talents and helped me showcase them. Thanks to him, I am appearing for my Grade Two practical exam and I can proudly call myself his student. "Probably the worst Music teacher, I have ever come across in my entire life. Such an arrogant person Mr. Balan is, that he doesn't even want to talk to parents to listen their views. Music is an art which will evolve only if you give your student enough space to express , but Mr. Balan has such a narrow mind, he doesn't want to follow that. He is extremely money minded person. If you delay fees by a day, then he starts shouting. On top of that, every book (all photo copied one - just 30-40 pages) he charges 200 rupees apart from the fees. I will never ever suggest anyone to put your kids in this school. Height of arrogance! Another point is, many a times, he cancelled class without even letting us know. "

"The founder of this school, a Raj Balan, is an extremely discourteous person. He was rude on the phone. I took a chance anyway and went to meet him because the school is on a route I take regularly. He took offense when I asked him if it was possible for me to have a demo class before I join. He started saying things like "you IT people are very rude" and "you don't have any qualifications to access a teacher". I tried to tell him that I did not mean to give any offense and all I wanted to see was whether I am able to learn properly from the teacher, whether there'll be compatibility between the two of us. He kept on talking rudely and asked me to get out, which I was glad to do. What a person!! He seems to feel acutely a lack of respect which was never accorded to him. Judging by his manner, he doesn't deserve any respect. Avoid this school unless you are willing to put up with his impolite and insulting behavior. "

"Do Re Mi School of music is one of the best music school here in Bangalore. Having been to different music classes in Bangalore I can easily say that quality of education and the way of teaching is beyond experience. They follow the Trinity Music school syllabus for music and teaches from very basic theory up to advance level of instrument playing ( Guitar, Keybiard, Violin etc.). I am taking guitar classes for almost last 6 months from Mr. S. Raj Balan and strongly recommend this music school for anyone who is interested in learning music. ---Sumit k. Chaudhary. "
