DO RE MI School of Music

As the founder of our music school, I am passionate about making music accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age or occupation. With over 30 years of teaching experience, I specialize in piano, keyboard, and guitar, aiming to instill a belief that music can be learned and performed by anyone who has the aptitude, inclination, and time.

Formerly known as S Raajagopalen and fondly called "Raj," I graduated in Commerce from Calcutta University and received formal training in music theory and practice from the Trinity College of Music, London. My career has been diverse, including performances as a pianist in prestigious 5-star hotels, where I played music from various countries, including Indian classical and semi-classical music.

Our school, known as "All Music India," is associated with "Music Lounge," a monthly magazine by A.R.M. Publication India, covering arts and entertainment across India. We are proud to be affiliated with Trinity College London, ensuring high standards in music education.

I specialize in one-on-one offline teaching sessions, providing personalized instruction that caters to the individual needs and goals of each student. Beyond teaching, I conduct workshops on the theory and practice of music as a stress buster in corporate settings. Additionally, I consult on creating bands and demonstrate instruments, fostering a deeper appreciation for music among enthusiasts.
