"My daughter is learning music from Ashwini mam from past 2 years .She is happy to attend all her classes that shows that my daughter is very comfortable in learning from her .She makes all her lessons very easy to grasp for the children and always corrects them if there is any minute mistake too. She emphasizes on learning the basics perfectly only then will she take it forward. She gives individual attention to each child and makes sure the child gets the swaras right .She has a range of students starting from 6 year old to may be 60 years .There is an annual event which is usually conducted in which all the students participate and it is a treat for the ears to listen to an array of songs .She herself has a very beautiful voice which is mesmerizing to hear during her classes .She is very knowledgeable in her field and has a broad range of songs in her kitty to teach the young children .I am happy that my child has found a got a very good GURU for the carnatic music .She is one of the best teachers in and around HSR Layout . "I was looking out for a good carnatic music teacher for my son after I shifted to Bangalore. One name I heard many of them mention was Ashwini Narasimhan. Both me and my son enjoy learning music under Ashwini. She is a competent and a very professional teacher. She has a Keen eye on the strengths and weaknesses in every students singing and helps us overcome and improve it. She is also adept in the history of carnatic music and can correlate each raga to it's Hindustani counterpart. Along with an interest in music, my knowledge on carnatic music has also greatly improved under Ashwinis tutelage. She also trains students who appear for music exams. "

"I have been learning Carnatic Music from Ashwini for the past 8 months and it has been a great experience. She emphasises on the techniques - the basics, Sruthi and Swara positions. She also takes great pains to tell us about the theory and rules of carnatic music. She gives each and everyone attention on their singing and gives guidance in correcting the mistakes. "I should say that the class is very structured, which starts from the basics. She has great knowledge on the theory topics and her singing techniques are awesome. She makes sure each student understands the meaning of each Saahithya so that it reflect in the bhava while singing. The care given to develop the singing techniques need to be appreciated. "
