How to be a good teacher?

I always stand by the quote "The best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don't tell you what to see." Teachers as a character should be inspiring, tender and caring. They should instil the love of learning in the student rather than making it an exercise to follow. 

* Being Patient, Kind and Caring is the key to develop a relationship with one's student, which is essential.

* Updating one's knowledge and be at peace with the advancement of modern technology and ever-changing format of the course helps.

* Engaging students in interactive sessions help a teacher to reach out to his/her students' better.

* Last but not least, a great teacher is the one who is passionate and dedicated.

There are four categories of students in every class. They are intelligent student(scoring above 90%) above average student(scoring between 70-90%) average student(50-70%) below average students(scoring below 50%). good teacher focusses mainly on the below-average students because they need her assistance more in academics. This can be done by asking questions frequently to them. If they were not able to answer, make them understand the concept in the medium which they understand better. This will motivate them to clarify their doubts with you in a confident manner. Assure them that you are there to help them to overcome their academic difficulties.

I have a perspective to teach you should know your student well what's your students range to grab anything. From start point you should know how to start with syllabus either go in deep or start from basic it all depend upon student's calibre. We should try to pick basic concepts first than should go for higher order. You should build a bridge between u and your student. Let him know what he asks it should be more concept oriented study rather than just focus on completion of classes.
