Is astrology predictions real?

The true prediction and false depends upon the Astrologers Quality.In my point of view The Astrology is not modern Science. Its vedic science (Vijnana Shastra). When 10 different astrologers analyse the same chart, how come they don't give the same results? Analyzing a Horoscope depends on inherent nature of a person, his line of thinking varies from person to person. One person's line of thought does not match the others. There will be a difference. Let us take an example from math 9X2 = 18 .This is true. This postulates are not applicable in jyOtishashAstra. Two horoscopes with exact same position of planets will not have same results. The reason for this is the line of thinking of astrologer and Karma Theory. In the olden days maharshis, scholars had education in a similar environment. Therefore their study of jyOtishashAstra and practice of the same was also similar. Current situation is totally different from the past . Each person studies in different environments and on different subjects. Now a day’s very few people studies jyotishashAstra as the primary field of education. Most of the people People study astrology for passing time and also to get income and fame by giving chart-results .They are only studying about the cosmology centric subjects of jyOtishshastra such as planets,zodiac and stars . Very Less pupil is studying jyOtishashAstra which is inclusive of vEdas, upanishads and its corollaries that is dharma, Karma Theory, reality of Supreme Lord, sadAchara, varnAshrama. Important point to be understood here is that jyOtishashastra is not modern-science. Because modern science is based on set of formulae. The formula should give the same result irrespective of the place ,circumstance and number of times it is used. Eg (a+b)2 = a2+2ab+b2 . This result is true in any circumstance and any region. Where as the result of chart analysis in jyOtishashastra changes based on region,time,circumstance and the past karmas of the person. Although Twins are born at almost same time and their charts look similar their nature, intelligence, line of thought will vary. Considering the above question. When a vaidika brahmana, doctor, lawyer, businessman etc people of different profession study a given chart, they adopt the postulates of jyOtishshastra according to their line of thought and give the result accordingly. That is the reason the result of analysis will be different. Positions of the planets is not just enough consideration for the result. One must have the skill and proficiency to have the right mindset when the analysis is being done, Therefore our ancestors revered jyOtishashastra as a divine shAstra and analysed the chart on the strength of their service towards Supreme Lord and divine strength (upAsanabala and daivabala) .Therefore for the study of Horoscope and determination of result , divine strength is important factor.
