I started teaching in 2004 with a Kendriya Vidyalaya and since then have come a long way in terms of experience. I worked as a Research Associate in ELTI Gauhati and completed a project on the Introduction of English Language in the Primary Schools of Assam. After that I got an opportunity to work as a Lecturer in the Regional Institute of English, Bangalore. My tenure in RIESI gave me a strong foundation on Teacher Training and Content Creation. After which I ventured into Business English & Life Skills training and taught the MBA batch of RV Institute of Management, Bangalore. In 2010 I got an opportunity to teach the Engineering and MBA students of Amrita University, Bangalore which gave me a new focus on the language needs individuals from the point of view of employment. I joined British Council, India as a Teacher in 2013 and plan to continue my career as a Training Consultant with the BC. In this profile I train the teachers of the govt. schools across India as part of British Council's English Partnerships initiative.
