My professional experience of more than a decade gave me a push towards preparing students who aim to study Design or Fashion design in the universities abroad or Nift/NID. My role as a professor has always motivated me to impart the basic skills in students or individuals who are willing to understand design before going to a formal design school so that they can perform better when they are a part of class. I have had an experience of working with various big names who provides coaching to Nift/Nid aspirants and realized there is a gap in what is being taught there. My aim is to bridge that gap and prepare the design aspirants to enter the design world confidently and smoothly.

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Fashion design from Nift, Delhi I started my carrier in the fashion business with an American Label as designer. I gradually shifted to academics as a visiting faculty with some reputed design colleges of India. After 3 years of working as a visiting I got motivated towards imparting skills and knowledge to students with a blend of industry and academics values as a full time professor I got a chance to do my Masters in design from an Indian university which gave me a boost to do a specialization from UK in design methodology. My core areas or my strength is Design and Draping. Its been 10 years I am teaching design and interacting with young energetic and enthusiast students and every day I have a new and fresh outlook towards design teaching. My teaching pedagogy is very flexible as need of my student. Today’s world is an online world, and my teaching modality is a blend of face to face and online teaching sessions. I have taught fresh pass outs from school and fresh graduates from different streams. With all the students my experience has always been great. My regular teaching always motivates me to be updated and be aware of what is happening around the globe.
