The admissions to the 1st grade in Vidyashilp is part of the feeder system. It is from their other school VidyaSagar, Hence, very few direct admissions during the course of the year. I havent heard of any 3 hour interview for the 1st grade. My son is in 6th grade - dont think safety and security is an issue either, My exp is good so far an it is... more»

Modern Day Educationist all over the world object to conduct tests for admission of the child. It is ridiculus to subject the innocent loving child to three hours of veried testing..Infact they should admit the Child and then test for her skills later to develop them to the fullest. Somewhere in the month of October, November, they conduct interviews for the year 2012. You need to follow up with the school on the dates when they issue application form. The aspect which has to be improved is their transport system. they do not have their own transport. they have outsourced it to few external groups, which are not upto the mark.... more»

For 1st std admission, kids has to know english alphabets, small words, hindi alphabets, basic questions on family, friends, neighborhood, signals...basically they chk the level of confidence and intelligence... «less

Though the infrastructure is impressive, and the school is very high-tech, they don't have basic systems in place to ensure discipline, safety and security of the child. Principal and staff are not open to listening to feedback of parents at all. The safety of the child is very low on the priority list.
