- Exhaustive training and practice are given for the Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing modules of IELTS general tests.
- Special attention is imparted to students who have a difficulty with the speaking module. Daily 20 minutes speaking practice is given to such students to increase their fluency.
- Proper structures are defined for writing tasks 1 and 2 so that the student is able to write letters and essays in an easier manner. Students are encouraged to write letters and essays even when they are not in the class and email the same for checking.
- Extra practice is given to students who have a difficulty in answering the Headings and True, False, Not Given sections of reading.
- Regarding the listening module, I personally sit with the students and go through the recordings to help them to understand the accents. I also give them additional websites where they can practice listening to different accents.
- A list of synonyms that can be used for speaking and writing are also given depending upon the level of the students to enable them to increase their vocabulary.
