Urvashi Nagpal

I am graduated from the University of Manchester in B.Sc. Biotechnology. In school as well as in University, I was always committed to learning and achieving my goals. As a tutor, I strive to help others to share the same love for learning and understanding as I do. Since my high school, I have been teaching my brother to help him attain academic success and growth. During school, I volunteered for the 'Umang' Program for 7 days and taught the under-privileged children. I designed learning assignments, executed class tests, marked the children's performance, and carried out educational activities which instilled the importance of education in them. I continued this passion for tutoring in University as I volunteered with the ReachOut organisation in my final year. I taught Science, Maths, and English to the students of grade 7. I also aimed to develop their character and improve their competence by guiding them in activities great for team-building, communication, and confidence. Currently I am tutoring an 8th grade student for French. I have worked with various ability levels and have enjoyed each and every experience. One of my strengths is to be able communicate concepts clearly in a way students can relate to. I feel that my experience of working with organisations based on tutoring groups and structured programs is a great asset.
