Most of the aspirants are attract for UPSC for Name, fame, prestige, power, stability & money and very few of them are for rest . Its alright Atleast you must have a REASON for your studies & it must be very strong.
before you try look at yourself & ask all above 4 questions if you all have then nothing will stop you except YOU.
Here Mentor role is as important as rudder or oar in boat who gives you right direction till your goad.
on an average 11.36 lakh applied for IAS pre for 1000 post i.e 1136 aspirants per post thats why this exam is called tough.
Who are successfull then?
Only those who is clear of concept whether it is from DPSC of Polity or El nino La nina of Geography or LI FI in technology and proper revision remember if you are not revise your concept it will create confusion in exam or after your exam you will say ábey yeh kaise galat h gaya; itna simple tha yaar; time hota toh faad deta bla bala bla... its a rumour that only topper or IIT IIM AIIMS are prefered actully these people know how to study hard and acheive their goals.

any how its time to remember your past acheivements , you must be daily charged for concept & revision & if i use X technique to qualify in UPSC not necessary that will applied to you same for same result. So apna dimag lagao with the help of your Mentor . & choose your mentor wisely.
