Although right now, Java is used more than Python. But looking at the data collected, Java is at its saturation point, whereas Python is new to the market and can be used in any field. It can be used in web development, app making, AI, machine learning and many more. In days to come, people with Python knowledge will be in demand, and right now, many companies are already seeking out people with Python coding. Data also suggest that Python is gaining popularity every year, with an average growth rate of 15%-20%. Python is much easier to learn and has future potential. My suggestion to you would be to go for Python.
