We can Understand Concept of modulation by an simple eg. of bike rider. U can treat urself as signal and ur bike as a carrier wave . When u need to go nearby place by u go by urself u dont need a vehicle, but if u want to go to a far distance(increase ur range) u need a vehicle on which u can sit and easily go, witout losing much of ur energy.
