BIOLOGY FACULTY NEET/BOARDS/ICAR READY FOR DIVE WITH ME IN BIO OCEAN...

See Ashok ! There are no electrons inside nucleus...but protons and neutrons ( proton+electron) are there. There occurs radioactivity and some of the neutrons convert themselves in proton and thus the electron trapped with neutrons comes outside. Hope it helps! Thank uh

Physics Teacher with 8yrs experience.

Electron is revolving around the nucleus. And beta rays emissions is depend upon protons and neutrons.

Electrons wont present in the nucleus. It will be outside the nucleus. Only protons and nutrons will be inside the nucleus. Beta rays having positively charged partices. So its coming from nucleaus

For the formation of beta rays, it emerges from the nucleus. This radiation happens in the nucleus when the neutrons are more compared to protons in the nucleus (remember: protons and neutrons are of equal numbers inside the nucleus in a standard atom). So the extra neutrons present in the nucleus turns itself into a proton and electron. So, that's how you end up having electrons in the nucleus. Since electrons does not belong to the nucleus they emerge out as beta radiation.

No, electrons are not present inside the nucleus as positive and negative charge combination makes atom electrically unstable. But in case of beta ray emission, electrons are emitted only when nucleus of an atom undergo Radioactive decay. It was emitted by neutron i.e., β- decay. Don't mix atom structural...

NEET UG aspirant .............can teach biology in a very easy way.

electrons are not present inside the nucleus...............due to the very high ratio of nutron to proton........the exess nutron transforms proton and electron.............and the electrons are ejected out with very high energy

An electron doesn't exist inside the nucleus, beta rays are not electrons they are similar characteristics as electrons but the main difference occurs in energy possessed by electrons and beta particles by which we can distinguish them

It is assumed that beta-decay is the conversion of a neutron into proton and electron. In radioactive emissions of beta particles (energetic electrons), a bound neutron in the nucleus changes into a proton inside the nucleus, with the emission of an electron and an anti-neutrino. Hence, at high n/p...

Hence, at high n/p ratio, one neutron is supposed to give 1 proton and 1 electron(β).
