"I am 42 years old and am a fresher in Bharatanatyam since 1.5 years learning under Chothy Mam. She has a wonderful way of accommodating all age groups and motivating them accordingly. Her warm discipline and Greta sense of humour make it a joy for all to eagerly come to her classes! Her idea of not forcing but beautifully engaging her students to be self motivated in doing their best is what makes her special. I consider it a great honour to be her student. I am sure her honest and humble efforts in propagating dance forms will one day be appreciated and get the honour she deserves. She's great at Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, Contemporary, Kathak and much more. She's an amazing human being whose strength of character and will power combine with confidence, intelligence and grace exuberates positivity and a special liking to dance forms and their history. Her unique was of teaching mudras as Slokas makes it easier for all, especially for a person with poor memory like me. Her partner and support Ms. Lakshmy Sudarsan has been a consistent supporter and is very open in discussing about the differences in various dance forms and how we can emulate them to our own creativity. Overall I am a dance enthusiast who is clueless about the details of dance but absolutely love dancing! These two women have inspired and motivated me to try and give it my best in spite of ally hurdles. Appreciate their policy of dance sans politics. But am sure their dreams will come true soon. "
