IdentityRohit Vimal obtained Yoga Teacher Training qualifications (Yoga Acharya, 350-hr) in the tradition of T. Krishnamacarya and T.K.V. Desikachar in 2014, from Yogavahini, Chennai, where he engages in continuing education. This forms the backbone of his approach of Viniyoga – tailoring practice to the student, and Vinyasa Krama model of Yoga practice.
He has since also trained at the Bihar School of Yoga (YIC) under the direct tutelage of its present day scion, venerable Sri. Swami Niranjananda Saraswati, in 2015. During his time in Munger, he learned the BSY method of Asana, Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga Nidra.
More recently, he has worked as a Senior Yoga Trainer at cure.fit, Bangalore (2017-’18), where he regularly taught varied groups ranging between 12-50 in number, and has consequently reached thousands of students through his work.
He has previously instructed hundreds of personal clients with a wide range of health conditions, and hailing from all age groups – children, adults and seniors; and has helped his students overcome ailments, attain relief from stress and anxiety, and reach goals in their personal and professional lives – from the corporate environment to competitive sport.
He regularly provides Yoga workshops to corporates (Adobe India, GE India, Gainsight, Cholamandalam Finance etc.) and has also created and taught several workshops and teacher training modules. He has also conducted and anchored multiple Yoga-Meditation retreats, and intensives.
