Hi I'm Charu Dua. I started teaching 2years back in an ICSE school. I use to teach from 5 to 8th grade students. My main subjects were English and Social studies. However I'm comfortable to teach English and Social studies from 10th to 12th grade students. What I have experienced in these two years is that all students have different abilities, so there are different methodologies to teach different kinds of students. I believe teaching is not only to teach and learn but to invoke interest among them to nurture their inherent capabilities and chisel their talents. Only then teaching becomes successful. I teach my students in such a way that they explore on their own and teach according to their interests. If we invoke interests among them then only teaching becomes interesting. Teaching should always be interesting otherwise the objective is never accomplished. I follow different teaching methodologies like Inductive-deductive approach, discussion method, brainstorming, role play method, drama, quiz, group activity etc.
