Selection of stocks is done by using below three analysis:

Fundamental analysis - In fundamental analysis a company is analyzed based on its balance sheet, economical factors, result etc.

Technical Analysis - Studying a stock based on its price chart, high/low/close, breakouts etc is known as Technical analysis

Sentimental Analysis - Analyzing a stock price based on season, people sentiment etc is known as Sentimental Analysis
