Hello! I am looking to learn the fundamentals of stock market analysis and eventually move towards the technicalities of it. I want some suggestions about where to start from. Is there any online courses or certifications which can help me in this?

Dear Gurujeet, Its good hear that you've made a choice to learn about Stock market. But there is one thing you need to be aware of - Trading and Investing are different. Trading is all about speculation, earning short term returns from Buying and selling securities. Whereas Investing is all about Wealth creation by Investing your money in Valuable stocks. First you need to clarify your learning objectives, whether you would like to be an Investor or a Trader.

To be an Investor, its necessary to learn indepth about Fundamental analysis. For a Trader, its necessary to know the complete pros and cons of Technical Analysis.  Two ways require, two different ways of thinking and analysis.

There are quite a few online courses and certifications...You can google out them. However,

1. Learning online may teach you the theory part again which may not clarify all your doubts and also may not make you understand why a particular method may or may not work. For this, it is ideal that you take a classroom course

2. I am not sure about certifications. However, we do offer courses as per your need and much more to make you a complete professional trader.

My suggestion would be to get coached by someone with hands-on experience in the markets. There are a few trainers who conduct online/offline training in fundamental analysis but if you're looking for a career in the financial markets, you should opt for a diploma or something with a certification. Collect information from a few trainers/institutes including topics covered and costs before you get started.
