its because of the fight between buyers and sellers at any point of time if buyers are more than sellers the price goes up and if sellers are more than buyers , the price goes down.

It is similar to Abundance and Shortage of any commodity in market. When a particular item has more buyer or Shortage then price goes up but when there is more Availability or more sellers then price goes down. If there is Good News on a particular Share then its not the News Impact but the more Buyers which let the price rise.
