If you are a beginner in stock market and want to become an expert, then there is only one way to go. Get yourself Educated. Learn. But if you are in a hurry, chances are that you will miss many things and commit big mistakes. Learn the basics first, that is the foundation. To be an expert, learning alone will not do, one must test what is learned by investing/trading in markets. Be practical. Theories are just guidelines, it may or may not work all the time as situations and ground realities change constantly and one has to apply the knowledge accordingly. If one wants to be a expert, spend a couple of years through the ups and downs of market. You will definitely have first hand experience. Also learn from the experience of others.
