Syllables:

Syllables are the building blocks of proper pronunciation and therefore accent.

What is Syllable? It is the unit of spoken sound. It is a piece of a spoken word that can be independently spoken. It cannot be broken down further. What do we mean by that? Let us take an example.

P H O T O G R A P H Y

This word has four syllables.

PHO - TO - GRA - PHY

When you say these four sounds clearly, you automatically mean the word. It is right about all the words we speak. It is a simple tip. Find the syllables in a word and say each one. It will help your pronunciation cleaner and more correct.

Use this tip from this point on and see how much better you sound.

Happy Talking!!!
