Even BI/BW is powered by HANA, you can learn the fundamentals of HANA DB/Developer course if you are a coding geek, or if you have some background in Analytical tools, SQL querying etc, you can choose BI/BW which is equally good option but even then you should know how BI on HANA works and certain enhanced features
