You should have materials to pass out. You should be able to instill.Teachers who have a demonstrator or personal model teaching style tend to run teacher-centered classes with an emphasis on demonstration and modeling. This type of teacher acts as a role model by demonstrating skills and processes and then as a coach/guide in helping students develop and apply these skills and knowledge. A teacher with this type of teaching style might comment: "I show my students how to properly do a task or work through a problem and then I'll help them master the task or problem solution. It's important that my students can independently solve similar problems by using and adapting demonstrated methods."My greatest strengths as a teacher are being able to connect with the children and getting on their level. Purdue's Teacher Education Program contributes by allowing me the opportunity to work with children in my classes. 2. I feel that one of my greatest strengths as a teacher is managing a classroom and building and maintaining a warm, successful learning classroom environment. I feel that Purdue's teacher education program does a fine job of stressing the importance of doing so. Another area in which I have excelled as a result of Purdue's teacher ed. program is my ability to plan lessons that are interdisciplinary and integrate technology. The program has done a good job of teaching me HOW to do this. 3. Listening and respecting students and developing creative and well-thought out plans and activities. Being in corporate training program I learned how to do this VERY well. 4. My greatest strengths are from the experiences I had through hands-on lab experiences. The classroom work was only helpful with core content about child development! 5. I feel that my presentation skills are strong. The professor showed me ways of getting the students motivated and presenting an interesting lesson without losing my audience. 6. Love of teaching, subject matter mastery, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Beats me. 7. My greatest strengths are being organized and finding fun ways to do subject areas. I do not feel that the Block program enhanced any of these. The introduction of problem-based learning (PBL) in undergraduate courses necessitates the special training of teachers and monitoring of their performance.1 In traditional courses the emphasis is on transmission of factual knowledge; teachers are the main source of information and students are offered few opportunities to identify their own learning needs or reflect collectively on their learning experience.2 Then, if the outcomes are unfavourable, the blame lies with the student, for lack of skills or motivation. By contrast, The responsibilities of teachers include: encouraging critical thinking; fostering self-directed learning and curiosity; monitoring group progress; and creating a learning environment that stimulates all members in the group, generates deep understanding, and promotes teamwork. Teaching and training people both adult and kids is what I like and do at the best.
