Further Reading in each section:
1. Reasoning section is the high scoring part of the exam and if the candidate saves time here, the available time can be used for problem solving sections. This section evaluates reasoning skills of a candidate.
2. English Language
English is a tricky section and is not always a high scoring one and a lengthy section. It is important for candidates to read a lot for a couple of months regularly to identify grammatical errors and to be comfortable in reading faster. Sometimes despite extensive reading, some words may be new. In this case candidate should try to understand the meaning through the context of the sentences and paragraph. This helps in answering most comprehension questions. The comprehension passage is usually lengthy; hence time management is vital here. Fill in the blank questions are fairly simple and easier to answer.
3. Numerical Ability
The questions are tougher than basic problem solving type questions, it is difficult for a candidate to solve all 40 questions in 40 minutes. Hence, it is necessary for candidates to strategize which topics are their strength and which questions will be attempted. This strategy should be kept in mind while solving practice papers as well. The number of questions that a candidate plans to attempt should be pre-decided. Needless to say, speed is very important here. Candidate should practice solving complex calculations on daily basis to improve speed and accuracy at the same time.
4. General Awareness
Candidates can sharpen their current affairs knowledge by daily reading newspapers, magazines and finding details of given topic on the internet. Candidates should answer only those questions which he/she is very confident about as there is negative marking and sometimes the options can be misleading.
5. Computer Knowledge
Candidates should have good awareness about the usage of computers. In banking sector computers have replace large physical documents to store and retrieve data. Hence, candidates should also learn how to add, retrieve or search customer information.
Preparation for Reasoning and Quantitative Ability can be done on alternative days with one section of English preparation every day.
Tips for cracking the RBI Exam:

Regular practice: RBI exam is strictly time bound and moderately tough. Hence, the candidate should take regular online and offline mock tests and previous year papers to ensure that a constant speed and a good level of accuracy is achieved.
