As an aspiring fashion designer, I have always been intrigued by the latest trends and happenings in the fashion industry. I have completed my two-year Bachelor's degree in fashion design from Woxen School of Art and Design, a part of Woxen University located in Hyderabad. I am pursuing an MBA in retail and fashion merchandise to expand my knowledge and skills further. During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to specialise in the men's wear department, which allowed me to gain valuable experience and knowledge in this specific area of fashion. Moreover, I have seven years of experience in the fashion industry, of which six were dedicated to internships. The other year, I was a fashion faculty member at Kolkatta ESEDS School of Design, an award-winning fashion and interior design college.
My passion for fashion has driven me to pursue a career in this industry, and I am determined to continue learning and growing as a fashion designer. I have also been involved in various co-curricular activities that have helped me enhance my skills and knowledge. I have received certification in sportswear presentation and technical garment fashion designing, as well as training in software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and MS Office. These skills have proven essential in my work, as they have helped me create visually stunning designs and presentations.
I believe that education should be practical and hands-on, so I always strive to ensure that my classes are interactive and engaging. I incorporate various teaching techniques such as presentations, study materials like notes and referral links, and even thesis papers to provide students with a well-rounded learning experience. Moreover, I cater to various age groups and skill levels, as everyone should have access to quality education in fashion design.
