I was made to kneel down and raise my hands for about 2 hours daily if I committed any mistakes from the time I was in Class 1 till 10. Though I am a girl the teachers showed no mercy on me. I was often made to kneel down and raise my hands with boys in other class too. This at least helped me to learn some manners but I felt it was too strict.

The people are aware now. Punishment in schools show a weak link of emotion between teacher and taught and parents and baby as well. Students should make parents their best friend, and parents should be very close to them, then only this problem can be minimize.
