I have total of 20 years of teaching experience. I am basically engineering college retired professor. However I have learned Hindustani Classical Music out of my own interest from a very senior teacher. I want to teach very basic aspects of classical music to those who want to start learning classical music and those who want to sing bollywood music. Presently I have about 5 students learning from me. Once you attend my demo class you will come to know few things and then you can decide. My fees are Rs 250 per hour or Rs 2600 for complete course of 20 hours.

Indian music is influenced by Hindu Mythology according to which Lord Brahma created four Vedas: Rigveda, Samveda, Yajurveda, Atharvaveda. In which, Samveda is the Veda of music. Lord Brahma passed the knowledge to Lord Shiva who passed it to Goddess Saraswati, the Devi of knowledge and learning.
