Sagar Adhau qualified as a Chartered Accountant and then worked in various Industries handling different areas related to accounts and finance. Initially, he was with Deloitte, working in IFRS and AERS departments following which he joined Get Through Guides (GTG) to pursue his passion for training, research and content development.

After this transition, Sagar started his career with GTG as an Author and Trainer. He was involved in authoring books and developing training material for ACCA curriculum, Corporate Training and other Professional courses. He has worked extensively on areas like IFRS, Finance, Taxation and Audits. As a Trainer he has provided trainings on IFRS, Accounting, UK Taxation and Finance to clients like BNY Mellon, Genpact, AXA and Credit Suisse. As an Assistant Vice President at GTG, his role involved working with corporates, understanding their needs and working on customized courses for the end customers.

He then worked as a freelancer (Professional) with GTG and started a consulting firm named “Adhau and Associates” which provides consultancy services to foreign corporates venturing in India. He heads this firm and has worked extensively in Finance, Internal Audits, Double taxation, FDI related issues, Audits and other compliances services. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India`s (ICAI) 10 members study group working towards convergence of Indian Accounting standards to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in India and setting and drafting new Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
